Instructions

  • Combine ground beef, panko breadcrumbs, beaten egg, ketchup, Dijon mustard, dried oregano, and kosher salt in a bowl.
  • Shape the mixture into four equal oval patties.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear patties for 3 minutes on each side.
  • Remove patties and make the gravy by melting butter and whisking in flour to create a roux.
  • Gradually add beef stock while whisking, followed by ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and onion powder.
  • Add sliced mushrooms and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • Return patties to the skillet, cover, and cook for an additional 10 minutes until cooked through.
