  • 8½ cups (450 g) mini marshmallows (divided: 7½ cups (397 g) and 1 cup (53 g))
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 7½ cups (200 g) Rice Krispies cereal

Instructions

  • Melt butter in a large pot over medium-low heat until lightly browned.
  • Add 7½ cups of mini marshmallows and stir until melted.
  • Mix in vanilla extract and salt until blended.
  • Fold in Rice Krispies cereal until coated.
  • Remove from heat and add remaining 1 cup of mini marshmallows, mixing gently.
  • Transfer to a greased 9×13-inch pan lined with parchment paper and press lightly.
  • Cool for about an hour before cutting into squares.

Notes

Melt butter over low heat to avoid burning.
Be gentle when mixing to maintain a soft texture.
