- 8 oz Fettuccine Noodles
- ½ cup butter
- 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 cups freshly grated asiago cheese
- 2 large chicken breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 ½ cups Italian style breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions
- Cook fettuccine noodles until al dente, drain and set aside.
- Slice chicken breasts in half horizontally and pound to ¼ inch thickness.
- Prepare three breading stations: whisk milk and eggs, mix flour with salt and pepper, combine breadcrumbs with Parmesan.
- Dip chicken cutlets in flour, then egg, and finally breadcrumbs.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet to 350°F. Fry chicken cutlets until golden brown.
- In a saucepan, combine heavy cream and butter, add garlic, salt, and pepper, then stir in asiago cheese until smooth.
- Toss fettuccine with creamy sauce, serve topped with crispy chicken cutlets and garnish.
Notes
Ensure oil is properly heated for crispy chicken.
Use freshly grated cheese for better flavor.
Experiment with different cheeses in the sauce.
