Ingredients

  • 1 package onion soup mix
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 69 slices American or cheddar cheese
  • 12 dill pickle slices
  • 12 dinner rolls
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  • Combine ground beef and onion soup mix in a bowl until uniform.
  • Line a baking dish with parchment paper, add diced onion, and spread the beef mixture.
  • Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes.
  • Cut the dinner rolls in half and arrange the bottoms on a baking sheet.
  • Reduce oven temperature to 350°F, pat the meat to remove grease, and transfer to rolls.
  • Layer cheese and pickles on top of the meat, brush with butter, and bake for another 15 minutes.
