Ingredients

  • 12 large eggs
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons pickle juice
  • 2 teaspoons mustard
  • 4 tablespoons finely chopped dill pickles
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 6 ounces of water in each cup (for coloring)
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar in each cup (for coloring)
  • Food coloring (variety of colors)

Instructions

  • Boil eggs in cold water, cover, and let sit for 12 minutes, then cool under cold water.
  • Peel the eggs and cut in half, scooping out the yolks into a bowl.
  • Mix yolks with mayonnaise, pickle juice, mustard, dill pickles, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Pipe the yolk mixture into egg whites using a ziplock bag.
  • Prepare color bath with food coloring and vinegar in cups of water.
  • Soak the eggs in the colored water for at least 10 minutes.
  • Remove eggs, pat dry, and arrange them on a platter.

Notes

For deeper colors, soak eggs longer in the dye.
Experiment with different color combinations for a unique look.
