  • 3 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice), divided
  • 5 tablespoons salted butter, divided
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Bake breakfast sausage in a 9×13 inch pan for about 25 minutes.
  • Cook bacon on a lined baking sheet for about 10 minutes.
  • Whisk eggs, milk, chives, and pepper. Cook in a skillet with butter until soft and fluffy.
  • Slice Hawaiian rolls, keeping them attached to make assembly easier.
  • Layer cheese, sausage, eggs, bacon, and more cheese in a baking dish with roll bottoms.
  • Brush with melted butter mixed with maple syrup.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.

Notes
